Agreed, we've all asked daft questions at some point - a trawl through my posting history would no doubt reveal some howlers when I first joined.

That said, I also don't think we should shy away from gentle poking / sarcasm towards the thankfully rare but occasional utterly moronic threads that we see. After all, this is the British Airways board and it would be a shame if we lost the unique British sense of humour that is often seen here. I won't give examples as I'm wary of singling out any particular threads or posters, but I'm sure most people know the sort of threads I'm referring to.
