maybe people could put together an email to PM to any new members, giving them some tips on searches, how to phrase questions, links to other sites like seatguru.com etc. Sort of a welcoming letter????

And maybe people could be a bit more tolerant when people ask daft questions, like it's already been said we've all been the newbie at some time.
