We just ended a three-night stay at the Sheraton Universal City. While they are doing some updates--rooms and lobby, until the renovation are done this hotel is to be avoided. There were regular 15-20 min. waits for the elevator. If you were in the lobby looking to go to your room there was a long line and if you were in your room looking to go out it was a long line to get to the lobby.

They had a full hotel with several events and then one elevator was out. This was a total disaster. It made everyone very unhappy. The staff is good, but they can't fix this problem.

Until the renovations are done--and call ahead to make sure they are--pass on this hotel.
