I am wondering if anyone has had any recent success getting AAA traveler's cheques to go through as a purchase on a credit card. The AAA CSR I spoke to said it is possible to buy them with a CC, but they "MIGHT" count as a cash advance. However, I set my cash advance limits on my Aadvantage cards to $0--and have it confirmed in writing. Do you think if I try to buy the cheques the cards will just be rejected?
