You will receive a number of responses that will tell you that 65 minutes will not be a problem.

60 - 65 minutes used to be fine at ATL. I personally prefer longer now. The air system is too stressed/extended these days for me to have high confidence in a 60 minute connection.

You will be OK if everything goes OK. A few problems (and problems seldom seem to travel alone) and it could become tight.

Bottom line... how great are the consequences if you miss your connection? Keeping in mind that there may be few opportunities for another seat on another flight later in the day.

Do you have elite status? Remember, many of those who will tell you this is "no problem" are elites who would get higher priority for the few seats that might be available later in the day.

Sorry... there is no black or white answer to the issue.
