I don't quite get the HGI, to be honest.

To me, it is about as nice as a Hampton, but with less provided and usually for more money.

I just did a sweep through the west, where I stayed in a bunch of different Hilton properties, my first stay in a bunch of them for a long while. What kind of shocked me was the fact that I got a free breakfast at the Embassy Suites, while at HGI, a much lower level property, breakfast was not included (I'm just Silver for the moment). It seemed a bit of a disconnect.
