In Orlando there is a fantastic Travel Pro clearance center all the way up on International Drive behind Texas de Brazil (as opposed to the TravelPro outlet store at the BV Outlet Stores). We bought 2 red 29" Plat5 cases there in January. They were at the amazing price of $99 each -- actually the second was another $10 off, so $89 -- total of $188 for both.

The salesgirl did make a point of telling us that there is absolutely no manufacturer's warranty on the cases they sell at this store. She checked every zipper, every tab etc. etc. on each piece before ringing them up to be sure that they were perfect before leaving the store. They are fantastic for our long international trips and cruises. That is, they are perfect until you weigh them -- empty they are each 8 kg!! But, we weighed them before buying and took the plunge anyway. They are absolutely wonderful for the quality and workmanship. And I'm sure if we should need any replacement parts -- wheels or such -- we could still get them from TravelPro.

We were able to get the matching 22" (horizontal men's suiter) trolley at the same store last month. At $39.95 again a bargain. But again, very heavy -- about 4 1/2 kg. empty.
