1. A hotel that doesn't heat or cool the hallways - especially one at the level of a Hilton.
2. A hotel at the level of a Hilton 'fixes' the air conditioning controls so that you can't turn the dial past 7 for cooler air (it goes up to 10 - I guess this is their response to not charging an energy surcharge).
3. A front desk SUPERVISOR that doesn't know how to put in your rental car information, or anything else that has to do with your program profile.
4. A hotel at the level of a Hilton or Doubletree that has stains on the carpet, wallpaper peeling off, holes in the sheets, no fitted sheet on the mattress or burn holes in the blankets.
5. Dirty shower curtains that blow in on you (at any hotel level!).
6. Hotels that want you to stay at their chain, promise you certain amenities when you reach certain levels, then having to fight for those amenities that are supposed to just be offered to you.
