I have just booked a Hertz rental, but had to do it through the Ryanair weblink. With a 23h50 arrival time (from AOC) in EDI, apparently Hertz waive the out of hours fee if you book it through the Ryanair link.. rate was jolly good too.

Sorry about the prostitution of going to Ryanair..... but the One Way ticket was only EUR2.50 a/i.
