We'll have accrued around 15,000 qualifying miles/20 segments by the time of our leave and will probably be around 20,000 miles with Nov/Dec travel. We live in Central America and our travel is mainly between CA and the Caribbean (via Miami, of course) with several trips a year to the Northeast US.

Is there any hope of keeping our gold status? It'll be sad enough losing the status, but especially since we'll soon be traveling with an infant.
