I'm frustrated with Hampton pricing as well. True they are great places to stay, but they seem overpriced, at least the ones I've seen. I travel all over the country, and until recently switching to marriott brands, I always tried to book at hilton properties. My employer is tight on expenses. I RARELY find a Hampton Inn that is less than $80 a night and often they range upwards of $120, which I find ridiculous for a Hampton. Sometimes there are weekend rates at $59 or so but that's it. Unfortunately, this ususally sends me off to Fairfield Inns. They are cheaper and you can tell when you stay there. Yuck!
