Why are Hampton Inn Stays more expensive than many Hiltons?

Is it just me, or do the prices at Hampton Inns seem to be higher than many of the specials at regular, full service Hilton's? Here in the DC area, many of the Hampton Inn's are going for $89 or $99 per weekend night. Some are $109. The Dulles Airport Hampton is an exception at $69. I can't seem to find any specials for Hampton.

On the other hand, there are a number of weekend specials at the area Hiltons including Arlington Hilton ($79), Crystal City ($89), etc.

Where are the Hampton Inn specials?
