I was upgraded too - been Gold for several years - never thought Plat offered enough extra benefits to make the effort at the expense of other program tiers. I think if I was to add up night over 12 months, I may be close.

Guess I'll see first hand if the Plat is worth maintaining - maybe that's their point - see if they can convince me to stay even more at MT probably knowing full well that I spend significant time at other chains also
