Having recently completed a similar trip, I wish I would have had the time to go to the Welcome lounge. The advertisded 'substantial' breakfast and hot shower would have been a great way to freshen up after 8 hours or so on an airplane.

I went to the Tower lounge. I could have easily spent 3 solid hours there relaxing. If you do go, they have three interesting Sonic Chairs in the back left corner (as you walk in). They are these odd, round chairs that you sit in. The chair has speakers that drown away the noise of the lounge (can't change the music but you can change the volume). Great view over terminal A. And there are showers in the Tower Lounge. (Since I'm never afraid to plug my own trip reports, you can see pictures

There's also a casino (or two) in FRA.
And there is a currency exchange on the 3rd level near gate A60 (or somewhere close).
