Gold Elite Waiting for Upgrade
I am a gold elite flying within 60 hours on a flight with 4 first class tickets available. I haven't been upgraded and when I called the elite desk to inquire why not, I was told that they were being held by revenue management and were not released yet and to wait until I get to the airport.
Aren't gold elites entitled to an upgrade at 72 hours, without any holdbacks by revenue management? Is this new? Are revenue management holdbacks expanding?
