I searched the forum but didn't find a recent answer. Knowing how things change, I figured I'd ask as a new post. I usually avoid code-shares like the plague. But, in this case I have to fly ATL-ATH next week via CDG. The TATL flight, ATL-CDG, is DL operated/DL ticketed. But, the CDG-ATH is AF operated/DL ticketed (9xxx flight number). I'm booked in M on all flights.

On EF, I see that AF has lots of E (Elite upgrade) inventory available on their flight. But, is there anyway to get one either with miles or PMUs? There is Z inventory for the DL operated flights. But, wanted to know what is allowed (or has been experienced) by others before calling for the upgrades.
