We were happy to see that the Doubletree in Bloomington IL now accepts pet (as the only Hilton hotel in the area). When checking in, the wanted a 50 dollars pet fee that didn't include anything. Our room was 80 bucks

I went online and found the recently refurbished Holiday Inn down the street that only wanted 20 USD, so we moved there instead.

50 dollar is an all time high pet fee for a 1 day stay. What's your experience?
