Don't chase it. It's all an inventory thing... for example you can fly non-stop today, tomorrow or Sunday for less than $300. In your example, it's likely that one person bought a ticket, inventory dropped by one and the price automatically went up. If no one else buys in the next week or so, the price will likely drop back down.
I'm hoping that you're correct and this holds true. I was silly enough to miss this past sale by <4 hours....I had hoped to book another couple of flights while the T+ fare was the same as the T fare. Absolutely gutted that I missed out!
