yes you can combine weight allowances for bags with jetstar BUT - be warned - no bag may be over 30 kg - they will enforce this strictly - suggest you pack a light duffle bag inside the main suitcase and split your luggage before you get to airport....hand luggage also has strict rules - small overhead compartments - beware!
Great, I think we'll be fine - but the big suitcase might have ended up at 22-23kg instead of 20, so I was concerned. I really don't want to tote a 30kg bag anyway
A friend said there used to be baggage lockers at Sydney airport - is that still the case? Perhaps we could/should stash a bag there and just tote smaller one(s) to Cairns.
