Miles for flight paid with a denied boarding voucher?
Hello,

I hope one of you may help:

My dad get last year a voucher for FRA-BKK as compensation for denied boarding due to overbooking. He was told by an emirates agent, that he will earn tier miles and award miles for this flight paid with the voucher. He wanted to book the ticket now, but during the booking he asked again regarding the miles and he was told, that he would get no miles for this flight. But the agent was not sure and asked several other agents. So it ends with a big questionmark. Did anyone of you know if he will earn miles for this trip or not (because he calculated that to keep his status).
