I've recently become an HHonors member based on the increased frequency of my company using their chain of hotels. Prior to that, we were strictly Hyatt.

So far, I've found HHonors to take up a lot of my time. Both my points & miles do not post in a reasonable amount of time (2-3 weeks so they claim). Has anyone had this experience?

I stayed in a Doubletree in late July and did not get points credited until mid-September! I had to call in to complain, re-fax my hotel statement, give all my airline information - again, and then wait another week before it even shows up! It's been more than three weeks since I stayed at a Hilton in the UK and still nothing. I sent an email to them requesting missing mileage and no response! I assume once I get back to the office, I will have to once again get all my paperwork together and fax it to them. It's becoming a such a hassle for me. Am I totally off base here?

One good side, when I called to complain (nicely) the first time, the rep put me in on that fast-track promo to Gold if I stay 4 times at their hotels before the end of the year. Plus, the rep was nice enough to give me something like 3,000 bonus points for god knows what. It's listed as some type of a customer service bonus in 1,500 increments. I wasn't going to question him especially since I didn't ask for any of this. I was pleasantly surprised.
