Generic Branding
I would say most of the designer name stuff out there i.e. Kenneth Cole, DVF, Polo, etc... are actually not manufactured by those companies. They are licensed name brands giving to big manufacturer who reap the benefits of the name brand. I know for a fact that a lot of Kenneth Cole, DVF, Polo and some Samsonite stuff are licensed to manufactures like
Heritage company or Bodanco.
