I had a "due to cutbacks" recently. Flying the old TED from MSY-DEN, passenger in window seat asks for sparkling water with lime, both my sister and I said we would have the same. FA gives window passenger his drink with lime and hands me and my sister our drinks without lime. We both said that we also wanted lime, her reply was that they only gave them a few limes due to the financial cutbacks and she really shouldn't give them to us - she needs to save them! Guess I will start bringing my own garnishes!
