first of all i think it's faster just to take it to a teller rather than having to unwrap every single roll and throw it into a machine that possibly miscounts my money like the above experiences causing a lot more hassle.
Some banks require you to use a machine, even if you take them in rolled to a teller, unfortunately.

I'd read earlier in the thread someone had a similar problem and the teller told them the counting is based on weight. Either way you look at it .98/1250 is 0.784% off or 0.00784. I didn't feel like getting into this debate with her.
I'm going to go to a different bank this afternoon to deposit the rest and see what the new machine comes up with.
I would experiment first... take in a roll or two. If they leave them in-tact, then go another day with the rest. From my experience, Chase has never made me open a roll.

I see:
The United States Mint pays for standard shipping and handling of domestic orders. Any special handling will be paid by the customer.
Orders are limited to twenty boxes ($5000) per coin issue.
Specific coins are available only while supplies last.
Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for shipping.
All sales are final.
For the TOC....so the 2 per president isn't in effect anymore?
If you look at the specific page for a Pres. coin, you'll see "
Orders are limited to two boxes ($500) per President." under the "For this special program"
