This hotel was a HI and is now a CP.
Reading through some of the
comments by the hotel on trip-advisor - page 2 - brought a smile! Better than the usual "We're glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again" (or "This was a one off issue and the staff have now been educated").
"Bless you for thinking of us as a favourite! And for saying such nice things about us too - we're all having squishy moments of happiness and then some!"
"A 'fab' comment for our designer - I can hear a champagne cork popping somewhere (sadly not right next to me!)."
"Glad to hear you had a great time with us, and the great news is that the last of the bedrooms are back with us and ready for use. Maybe it's time I should have a lie down"
"...sadly refurbishment involves paint, but I’m sorry to hear it didn’t agree with your olfactory senses – aside from pretty things like flowers and vases and the like our major building work is at an end..."
