Hey epo, I fully agree with you.

I flew SFO-SYD 3 times in the last couple of weeks in E+ and it was totally crap (can I say that word?).

I thought I knew what I was letting myself in for, but the double EQM offer held sway. The last flight SFO-SYD on May 17 was also 3 hours late due to mx, so this isn't exactly appealing either (but the 15,000 MP miles compo was reasonable).

I have a feeling that when DL starts up shortly on the LAX-SYD route, UA will feel the cold winds from Antarctica (and that's exactly what they deserve). UA's Transpac Y class is disgusting, and in this era of diminishing F/C pax, no doubt they will feel the chill winds. So be it...
