Huh? AA has about 250% more capacity to LatAm than Delta, and about 600% more capacity to the Caribbean.

Other than ORD and DFW I am not sure what huge markets he is talking about. And yes AA has bragging rights over DL at MIA, but its not like DL is a two gate operation there.
AA is the largest O&D carrier at DFW, MIA, LAX and LGA. They are the second largest O&D carrier at BOS, JFK and ORD. At JFK, they carry far more O&D traffic than Delta. They are second to JetBlue.

AA is also the largest carrier in a significant number of high density O&D markets from DCA, JFK, BOS, LGA and JFK, in addition to their hubs.
