For the first time that I can remember, I've been charged a resort fee at a Hilton property - $6/day, without notice at check-in. I questioned it upon checkout and didn't make a big stink - I wonder if these started as the energy surcharge disappeared. (Otherwise, I do like the property and have stayed there 4 times or so.) I know the resort fees have been an issue over at Starwood properties, but never knew of them at Hiltons. Have I just been lucky, or blind?
