I don't have a problem with the offer at all. I have a problem with the "shake down" pages on the website(s). The airlines really hope you have a slip of the mouse and accidently buy something. It has happened once to me, hence the reason I am not happy about the "shake down" page. I have no problem if they direct those that want the extra services to a safer location so accidental buying doesn't happen or that there is a confirmation of the purchase desire. At this point, it seems like the airlines are hoping you buy without understanding what you bought. And so far, AS.com is better than UA.com in that regard, but they are starting to look more and more alike.
I manage to make it through the checkout counter at the grocery store without buying gum or gossip mags, I think that I can handle not slipping my mouse over the wrong button when making purchases online. I fail to see what the big deal is (i'm not saying I like it but it's not enough to make me complain)
