Can only comment on the hotel's location since I haven't stayed there:

It will be very convenient for where your office will be although the hotel itself is not in the best of areas. It borders the old "combat zone". This shouldn't put you off, however, since the area is still safe.

You may also want to look into the Swissotel which is a nice hotel nearby and frequently runs specials and mileage promos. Also, the Hilton at Copley is quite closeby (perhaps a 15 min walk to your office) vs 5 mins from Doubletree.
