Talk about setting a good example for any children within earshot on that plane. Obviously I wasn't there, and if by having the child roll their own bag was taking an extraordinarily longer amount of time, then shame on the parent, I agree. Was this guy truly "suffering"? No.
I get frustrated sometimes in life by the actions of plenty of people. Be frustrated, be annoyed, but be mature. Is yelling the word idiot to anyone in front of a child, let alone their parent, mature? Not in the least.
Does anyone like to hear a crying baby for long periods of time? I know I don't, but I know that may happen if I choose to take PUBLIC transportation such as an airplane. Hopefully that parent has taken all necessary steps to try to ensure they can meet all the needs of the baby on the plane. People who fly with children spent money on a ticket just like anyone else. They are not breaking any airline rules, as obviously airlines permit you to have children on board.
You can't really expect that no one with children EVER dare board an airplane to visit relatives, go on vacation, attend a funeral, etc.
