What are the chances of being allowed to fly standby for a flight 24 hours before my ticketed flight?

I'm in LAS at a conference that is quickly winding down, so my Thursday nite departure to MIA is now a day later than I'd like to fly.

Instead, I want to fly the identical Wednesday flight. Any chance I can do this standby?

I am GLD status.
