Yes, DR,Lion, the free drink coupons were in my room when I returned from dinner.

I had gotten over the breakfast thing by morning. In the hotel's defense, they did give me a nice room. Unfortunately, that good feeling ended when I checked out and the front desk clerk had asked me if I had my free breakfast. Of course, by then it was too late since I was on my way to LaGuardia to catch a flight. I suggested that maybe he work the check-in's because the "Diamond Desk" woman in the afternoon wouldn't budge.

I think that HH is well intentioned, but the individual properties sometimes refuse to play by the rules. It's curious since it's the promises in those rules that lead us to those properties in the first place. They're getting their cake and eating it, too. Jabez has the right idea which is to call the property first.

Speaking of eating, the continental breakfast was $24! I grabbed coffee and a bagel at the airport.
