BA Tier Points and Company bookings

Hi there, I am new to this forum so bear with me! A question. I am travelling biz class on BA to Vienna from LHR next month and the client has booked the tickets. They say that they are taking my tier points and miles for themselves! I thought that tier points and miles belonged to the individual traveller. Can you help?
