Ok, maybe 90% was exaggerating a little bit, but no matter how you slice it, there are more Hampton Inns in the Hilton family than all other Hilton brands put together and having 1600 Hampton Inns all over the US, does not sound like a very attractive proposition in my book..
There are around 500 real Hiltons and a lot of them are not very nice. There are around 15-20 Conrads and 10-15 Waldorf Astoria Collection totaling around 30-40 luxury hotels total in the entire Hilton Family.
