I have no idea what the benefits of this "club" are. All the advertisement can tell me is that I get "2 FREE round trip Companion Tickets.*" It mentions that about ten times. to you, Amex. With all that hype, introducing this offer to my shredder will be quite satisfying.

I haven't been extended this offer, but based on others' experiences, you should just toss it in the shredder.
Flyertalk search function sucks, use google "flyertalk <insert subject>" although goog doesn't always give the best results either.
