I would tend to agree. They're about the same as all the rest. Now of course they wouldn't be my first choice in general. I think flying into/out of PHL is bad in general.
Try flying US to DCA on a summer evening with thunderstorms when the ground staff collectively throw their hands in the air, sing 'screw all of you' to the passengers and go off on break while people stand in mobs unable to move and without a clue as to what's going on. Been there, done that.
Aeroflot provided better service during the Brezhnev years.
