Yikes!
I'm looking at about 12 days in the region, travelling from Turkey to Cairo.
I think I'll do 3 nights IST (been there before), 3 nights in Antalya, and the last 2 nights in CAI. So.... I was looking at where to spend the 4 days in between, and BEY sounds like it might be fun--I could do TK IST-BEY, and then MS BEY-CAI, with a stopover in BEY.... for a reasonable amount of BD miles. Tickets aren't especially cheap in this neighborhood, at least on ITA.
So, BEY Flyer and Cedar Jet, got any insights on hotels in BEY?
Even 3* hotels like Ramada are upwards of US$150-200 in late June. Golden Tulip is US$100/night, seems reasonable, but not great.
My ace in the hole, the LM Commodore, leaves SPG on June 5! So that's out.
So I could spend 7,000 SPG pts/ night at the 4pts Le Verdun (room rate $240/night, maybe I could try an SPG50?), but I do hate to spend my precious SPG points on a 4Pts--especially one with average-to-poor reviews.....it seems like a newish hotel, so maybe worth the points? Not sure.
Any local Travel Agents with deals better than I'm finding online?
I promise to take you out for a drink or two (or more?) when I'm there.....
