Have to agree with Swanhunter and Shuttle-Bored that I am disappointed at another North America destination from LHR when there are so many other potential destinations in Asia and South America. I've no interest in visiting casinos (nor seeing Elton or Cher in concert!). I personally prefer destinations with more authenticity and culture.

I am also surprised at the timing, not least because the AA deal could see substantial changes to the North America route map.
