When Hilton eliminated blackout dates last year, I made the move from SPG to HHonors, including the credit card. I've seen far too many SPG properties creep up the CAT ladder along with the addition of CAT's 6-7 to their program. Keep in mind that the Hilton brand includes many, many more properties than SPG. In fact, there are nearly twice as many Hampton Inn's as there are Starwood properties in all of their brands combined. SPG doesn't even have a single property in the capital of New York state, Albany.
