I've been just using the built-in FM transmitter of my portable Sirius receiver anyway, which works very well most of the time. The most trouble I had with it I think was more due to the really rainy weather that day, sat reception issue rather than the FM.
Success is a moving target and music at your feet or finger tip, new one keep replacing old ones but they do carry forward the best features of old and drop out the undesired ones. Tape Deck or cassette player or CD player now have iPOD.
