Using a companion cert.

Using a paper discount.

Using VDB certs.

When your nearest UA station is either a two hour drive or a plane ride away.

The TBM folks in Dearborn are really good at ticketing, and even if you go to an airport ticket counter, you never know if you'll be there at the "right" hours or if the person you get will be trained enough in ticketing to actually do whatever it is you need to do.

E.g., I would much rather have the TBM folks deal with this sort of thing. I have never had a problem with them, and I have had more than one problem when trying to ticket at the airport.

I miss UA CTOs

Actually my experience is that you DO get an email when the reservation is ticketed in Dearborn.
