Questions: Are you travelling alone? Does the baby have a seat? If you are travelling alone and the baby is in your lap, you have an important decision - aisle or window. You will certainly have someone sitting next to you, do you prefer the window so not to be disturbed when the other pax needs to get up. Or do you prefer the aisle so that you can get up and move around with the baby but understanding that the other pax may need to get up and disturb the baby while sleeping.
Regardless I always found the bulkhead to be the easiest as it allows either your or the other pax to get up without disturbing the other.
Thanks for the quick responses. I am traveling with my wife, but the baby doesn't have a seat. So it'll be the two of us with baby in lap (alternating between mine and hers).
Any idea if US Air has bassinet service internationally? That's certainly a more important flight segment since it's longer.
