[QUOTE=cnk;11769492]I am going to be taking a long trip with a 13-month old baby next week (no seat purchased). I'm trying to figure out the best seats for the flight.

My first segment is on F on a 321 (LAX-PHL, US754). I'm guessing that bulkhead is the best option, but is it possible to get a bassinet in F or is that only in Y? For that matter, am I better off being in economy if I can get a bassinet there?

The second segment is in business class on a 752 (PHL-LIS, US738). I guess a similar issue here with regard to bulkhead.

I've checked out seat guru, but I'm hoping for responses from people who have traveled in F or business with infants.

First US domestic does not have bassinet service.

Questions: Are you travelling alone? Does the baby have a seat? If you are travelling alone and the baby is in your lap, you have an important decision - aisle or window. You will certainly have someone sitting next to you, do you prefer the window so not to be disturbed when the other pax needs to get up. Or do you prefer the aisle so that you can get up and move around with the baby but understanding that the other pax may need to get up and disturb the baby while sleeping.

Regardless I always found the bulkhead to be the easiest as it allows either your or the other pax to get up without disturbing the other.
