I am going to be taking a long trip with a 13-month old baby next week (no seat purchased). I'm trying to figure out the best seats for the flight.
My first segment is on F on a 321 (LAX-PHL, US754). I'm guessing that bulkhead is the best option, but is it possible to get a bassinet in F or is that only in Y? For that matter, am I better off being in economy if I can get a bassinet there?
The second segment is in business class on a 752 (PHL-LIS, US738). I guess a similar issue here with regard to bulkhead.
I've checked out seat guru, but I'm hoping for responses from people who have traveled in F or business with infants.

Since you'll probably want all the space you can possibly get to make it easier on yourself, I'd say that bulkhead seats are the best bet. The only drawback is you wouldn't be able to have a diaper bag, etc. at your feet until after take off. Also, I may be mistaken but I dont recall US offering a bassinet service. I don't even think any of the planes youve mention have anywhere where a bassinet could even be mounted.
