Now when you stay at a large Hilton you'll really notice the difference. We just got back from the Hilton Arc de Triumph in Paris about 3 weeks ago. Even the little things like free bottles of water, access to the lounge, free drinks really start to add up.

Not sure about as a gold, but Hampton's always treat me pretty well - bottle of water, snack, and UG if available. Hampton's are probably my favorite reward stay.
