Factually, what I said is true - your ticket won't be worth the kilobytes that it takes up on the e-ticket database if the issuing carrier goes bust. I was just trying to clear up the confusion which seemed apparent when some people above were saying things like "You should be fine, they will accept your ticket anyway..." "I thought the operating carrier gets paid once the ticket is issued..." and so on.
