The Club Floor is NOT in operation and has been closed, she said she was very sorry that the website had not been updated to reflect this, but she was going to contact someone straight away to amend it.
I tried to argue that I should have a refund as I had booked a Club Room, but, she pointed out to me that I had 2 nights on Rewards and they were letting me stay in my suite, so I backed down.
Will probably get awful service everywhere in the hotel now for moaning!

Now this is some interesting news. One would assume that they check their booking system and proactively contact the coming guests with club room bookings. It is pretty lame in my opinion, that they first try to argue, that this type of room does not come with club access. They should have been honest and say "Sorry, our club is under renovation, you have a paid/reward mix stay, you can stay in the upgraded room the whole time". Like this the situation would have been different. Maybe one could try to get breakfast on top too.
Well, thank you very much for this info. I am not able to cancel and rebook, since no cheaper rooms are available at my travel dates. But at least I get there prepared and can argue to my benefit since I also have a paid/reward booking.
