I have read and searched on this forum, but I have not found the answer I wanted.
I am traveling with my 3 month old daughter next week. It will be short 1.5hr domestic flight.
Based on United.com
Passengers with newborns and infants
may be required to show proof of age in order to travel.

I requested the birth certificate a month ago. But it was returned due to missing documents. I sent it again last week hoping to get the certificate by next week.
I already called United to put my baby as a lap child. And asked if I need to have the certificate to travel. The agent just read the United policy written on the website.
I have a document issued by the hospital.
1) Do you think I can travle without the birth certificate?
2) I have a document issued by the hospital. Do you think it will work?
