Thank you, everyone, for the great advice. Sorry, for being so late in replying. Pretty much answered all my questions

I also fall into the "hate to pay for parking and transport" category. I hate it so much I'd do almost anything to avoid it. I'd rather spend the money on food or a nicer hotel.
